Hello and Welcome! This is my public blog, for sharing little bits of my life with my online friends from around the world. I'll update it with funny little things the kids do, big moments, things I think about, and other such nonsense. If I find a good recipe, I'll share. If I have a tip to make life easier, I'll share. If I win a million bucks in the lottery . . . well, I don't buy lottery tickets, so I'll stop there.

If you are a family member or close friend, perhaps you are looking for my private blog.

Optimism

There is nothing like a 3 year old for optimism. Yesterday afternoon Didi was hungry, so I offered her a cheese stick for a snack.

The Z-monster (perpetually hungry) came running. "Cheese stick?!?!?" He inquired eagerly.

"Yes, cheese sticks." I replied, "Would you like one too?"

He paused to think about it for a moment, and I could see the cogs turning as he replied, "No, not cheese sticks. I want ice cream sticks!!!!!"

Holy cow, I hadn't checked your blog for a couple of weeks because we were out of town and I come back to all of this! My niece actually did have HSP, but her case was pretty mild and didn't have any long term effects. I'm glad that you got all of your kids' issues mostly sorted out....mostly. Oi. You've had your hands full.

I'm all for ice cream sticks. They're called creamies at our house ; ). Smart kid.
